A short script
Hook, problem, solution, action.
Artificial intelligence · 2026 edition
AI now makes it possible to produce a short video advert with no filming or studio. The result depends mainly on the message and the script, not the tool. Here is the method, and the rules to follow in 2026.

In short
To make a video ad with AI, start with a short script: a hook in the first few seconds, a problem, your solution and an action to take. Then generate the images or video shots, add a voice and subtitles, and edit it all together. Since 2 August 2026, under the EU AI Act, a realistic video that could pass for real must be disclosed as AI-generated.
Hook, problem, solution, action.
Shots, products, settings or an avatar.
Many people watch with the sound off.
When the content could seem real.
A 15 to 30 second video is often enough. The shorter it is, the more every second counts.
An AI-generated advert is still an advert. All the usual rules apply, plus a few new ones.
The EU AI Act requires you to disclose an image, sound or video generated or altered by AI that could seem authentic.
Never reproduce a real person's face or voice without their written consent.
Check the commercial use terms of every tool, piece of music and image you use.
The product shown must match the product sold. An invented or exaggerated result can be a misleading commercial practice.
The same script can be adapted into several formats. Think first about where the video will be watched.
| Use | Recommended length | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Ad on mobile | 15 to 30 seconds | Vertical |
| Sales page | 60 to 90 seconds | Landscape or square |
| Product presentation | 20 to 45 seconds | Square or vertical |
| WhatsApp message to your customers | Under 30 seconds | Vertical, lightweight |
These lengths are common guidelines, not rules. Test and keep what works for your audience.
Your scripts, format variations and subtitles are prepared automatically. You keep the final say.
Several versions suggested based on your offer.
One video, several formats ready to publish.
Generated and checked before publication.
Every video scheduled at the right time.
Write a short script, break it into shots, generate the images or video for each shot, add a voice, music and subtitles, then edit it all together.
Since 2 August 2026, under the EU AI Act, AI-generated or altered content that could seem real must be clearly disclosed. Obviously fictional content is treated more flexibly.
No, not without the person's written consent. Using someone's face or voice without permission can breach image, personality and data protection rules, whether they are famous or not.
A simple video can be made in a few hours with a script ready. The longest part is often writing the message.
Often 15 to 30 seconds for an ad viewed on a phone. The key point must come across in the first few seconds.
It depends on the terms of the tool you used and on your own creative input. Read the commercial use terms and get advice if in doubt.
